Our family of 5 adults enjoyed our stay. Easy to walk for coffee, restaurants and groceries. As mentioned 1st floor bathroom is small but workable, just wanted to mention as the person with bad knees and needed the 1st floor amenities it is something to note. Street noise was more than expected in the mornings and you can understand why the host asks folks to be quiet if they are leaving in the early morning hours. We really enjoyed staying at this home. It was the perfect distance from all sides the greater Boston area, and quite close to the river. The house itself promised much more than we expected with a large amount of room, flexible comforts, and a modern motif. Our kids LOVED it - especially having the choice to either been rooming together or separately (one even got to have his own suite in the upper floor). XT’s place was perfect for our annual fantasy football draft weekend. Plenty of room for a big group. We loved that everyone had their own bed and there were plenty of bathrooms. Great house - perfect for a group of 7 (2 couples 3 kids). Walkable to the T and nearby restaurants and stores. Responsive to my messages. Bedrooms were all good sized; bathroom in the downstairs bedroom was very small but was workable. Bathrooms upstairs were all large.

The house was very comfortable. Our party consisted of four adults and four children (12 to 6 years of age). With three floors containing bathrooms, bedrooms, and sleeping sofas, we had plenty of room to spread out. The house has a great kitchen complete with a gas stove, microwave, large fridge/freezer, electric kettle, Keurig coffee maker with complementary coffee pods. We left the car in the driveway and purchased Charlie cards for the T-line (subway) as Porter station was a short walk from the house. This house is an excellent choice as it offers everything one could possibly need and more.The house is spacious, featuring five bedrooms and a small den, along with a very roomy living room. Additionally, it provides three parking spaces. The neighborhood is peaceful and inviting.The location is ideal, as it is within walking distance from Harvard Square. Furthermore, it is just a block away from the metro line, providing convenient access to other areas. We loved staying at Xintao's house. it had lots of room for our family and it was squeaky clean. it was very convenient and it was walking distance to supermarkets, pharmacies and cafes.
